The market for quality table saws is huge these days, which can make it difficult to know where to start. Nevertheless, you occasionally come across a device like the WEN 3720 Table Saw, which has almost exclusively positive reviews.
If you’re not already familiar with the brand, WEN produces an extensive range of tools and accessories for all purposes. From generators to pneumatics to power tools of all shapes and sizes, they’ve built a strong reputation for combining professional performance with all-round affordability.
In this WEN 3720 review, I’ll be taking a look at one of the brand’s most popular devices to date.
According to the official product blurb, the WEN 3720 has a 4,400 RPM 15A motor and is capable of dealing with even the most heavy-duty jobs with ease. It also has an impressive ripping capacity of 26-inches and can power through a variety of materials up to 3-9/16” deep.
Add dado head compatibility and a collapsible stand into the mix, and it seems we’re onto a winner. True, this Table Saw does have a primarily plastic chassis, but it’s nonetheless extremely sturdy and built to last. It’s also been flagged as being a little tricky to put together out of the box.
Nevertheless, if it’s even half as good as its manufacturer claims, it’s right up there with the best in the business in terms of value for money.

My Experience with WEN 3720
As far as first impressions go, I was pretty impressed with this powerful yet compact machine. I’d consulted a bunch of customer reviews already, so I was prepared for a table saw that was probably going to be a little tricky to assemble. Which it was, but not to any extreme degree.
Despite its relatively small size, the WEN 3720 does a fantastic job ripping through boards of all shapes and sizes. I also put it to the test with a variety of treated woods, and it never faltered.
One of the most appealing features of the WEN 3720 15-amp 10-inch Table Saw, which can be extended in both directions to accommodate significantly larger pieces. It’s the total size when extended is around 40 inches by 30 inches – impressive for such a compact piece of kit.
Along with the actual saw itself, the kit comes complete with two table extensions, a sturdy fence to guide boards in a straight line, a rip stick to maximize safety, a miter gauge for cutting along angles, adjustment wrenches, two eight-inch never-flat wheels, and quite a lot more besides. All backed by a reassuring 24-month warranty from the manufacturer.
All in all, the WEN 3720 is designed to get the job done with no fuss while taking up a little space as possible…and that’s what it does.

Yes, you could argue that the initial assembly process is a little on the complicated side, and that plastic chassis occasionally feels a little cheap.
