Woodworking is one such hobby that has been close to my heart ever since, and a powerful drill becomes my best companion during those hours. I always preferred to use a corded drill compared to battery-powered drills because I disliked it when the batteries died on me during my work.
This had been my preference before I met the Dewalt DCD771C2 Cordless Drill Driver, which completely changed my opinion. Now and then (especially during the “no-party” weekends), I am seen covered in wood chips and sawdust while holding my new-favorite Dewalt DCD771C2.
I have taken some pictures of myself holding the drill during my woodworking, but I suppose sharing such photographs online would be awkward! It has been over a fortnight now that I have been using this compact drill driver, and I must say that this is the best value-for-money drill that you can get at this price point.
The Dewalt DCD771C2 is specifically engineered for the domestic market, and the power that this drill delivers is nothing less than remarkable. Along with the robust built quality of this compact drill driver, it also comes with two Lithium-ion batteries, which you can use interchangeably. This specific feature has extensively increased the fame of the power hand tool.
Although the specifications on paper look attractive, let’s delve in to see the actual performance of
this tool in my Dewalt DCD771C2 review.

In comparison to the type of batteries used in other drill machine models, the Lithium-ion battery used in the Dewalt DCD771C2 20V Max Drill Driver remarkably aces the race. The Lithium-ion battery technology used in this power hand tool is not only energy-efficient but also light and compact.

from its competitors. The 1.3 A, 20V max Lithium-ion battery provides enough juice for the drill to run

During my lazy weekends, the mere thought of using this specific Dewalt DCD771C2 Compact Drill Driver model motivated me to get up from my couch and get some work done! The Dewalt DCD771C2 made me change my perception about the cordless drills, as I had mentioned before.

Final Thoughts
According to the specifications and the first-hand feel of the Dewalt DCD771C2 Drill Driver, I would give it a 4.5 rating out of 5. The level of performance and the ergonomic feel of this drilling machine are truly commendable. There are two reasons why I did not give a full 5-star rating to this device.
The first reason is that the Dewalt DCD771C2 is not suitable for heavy-duty work, and the second is that you need to have some room for betterment (since no device is perfect). The dual Lithium-ion batteries delivered more than enough juice for the drill to run efficiently for a long duration.
The LED light, on the other hand, is also bright enough to illuminate the area you are working in. Overall, the Dewalt DCD771C2 is one such power hand tool, which did not fail to impress me right from the time I unboxed it.
